Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to everyone for their common sense and support with the decisions that have been made regarding the extreme weather we have been experiencing recently. We will always guarantee that the safety of our students is our main priority at all times. On occasions the students have remained indoors due to the smoky weather outdoors. The Year 5 Camp was unfortunately postponed due to the dangerous weather conditions last week. Year 5 will now have a modified experience with a full day excursion at the campsite. As the extreme weather continues we will continue to make decisions regarding safety on a daily basis.
A huge thank you to all the parents who helped, supported and came along to watch the School Swimming Carnival and Water Fun Day,. Both events contributed to a very successful day due to the support of the parent helpers. Thanks to the Kindergarten to Year 2 teachers for their hard work and organisation. Thank you to Mrs Augustine for another well organised carnival for our school. Congratulations to all of the winners particularly the MacKillop Team who won the 2019 Swimming Carnival.
If your child is not returning to St Thomas More Catholic Parish Primary School Ruse in 2020, could you please notify the School Office as soon as possible. There is a ‘School Leavers’ form that needs to be completed.
Our School Uniform is seeking any second hand uniforms that may no longer be needed. These can be left at the School Office.
Best wishes for the coming week,
Philip Barrington
