First of all I would like to thank all staff, students and families who have made me feel so welcome in my first few weeks at St Thomas More. I am trying hard over the coming weeks to get to know all of the students and their families. Can I ask that if you do see me, to please come and introduce yourself. 

This is planning to be a wonderful year and I feel lucky to be able to be here to lead and be part of the learning and school community. 

Learning Update
This year there is the introduction of the new K-2 Curriculum for English and Mathematics. All staff will be undertaking professional development in order to deepen their understanding of the content of each subject and how best to teach it. If you would like to have a read of the new syllabus it can be found at https://curriculum.nsw.edu.au/. More information about this will be provided throughout the year.

Well-being Update
We have been fortunate to engage the services of Learning Links, which will be providing the Cool Kids and The Incredible Years - Dinosaur School program to groups of students this semester. These programs focus on student well-being and developing social skills across K-6.
