Learning About Water Safety
Term 4 Swimming Program - Kindergarten to Year 4
All students, Kindergarten to Year 4 will be attending a weekly swimming program run by Kingswim at Macarthur Square every Wednesday for 8 weeks beginning on the 19th October. Later in the term a note will be sent home for information regarding your child's swimming ability, so that they can be placed in the most appropriate ability group. Permission, timetable and organisational information will be sent out through Compass at a later date.
Surf Education - Year 5 and 6 - Friday 24 November
This year all students in Year 5 and 6 will be learning about Surf Safety. Some activities will be conducted at school and followed up by a whole day at Sandon Beach. The day will be run by Sea Australia, who specialise in developing surf awareness and education programs. Permission and more details will be sent out through Compass later in the year.
