Dear Parents and Carers,
As many continue to battle illness and sickness including COVID-19 in our school and parish community, let us pray for all those who are sick at this time.
Thank you to all members of our school community for your ongoing patience as we continue to cope with a temporary office and Library. We are hoping that in the coming days and weeks that new carpet will be laid in the Office and Library and that we will be back in our usual places very soon. At this stage these areas still remain out of bounds to everyone.
Thank you for your support of the World Greatest Shave in support of the Leukaemia Foundation. Our mufti day last week raised $703.51 which was added to the online donations. The STM total for 2022 for the World Greatest Shave is currently at $4,746.35. If you would still like to donate please access this link: http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/STM
Congratulations to Mrs Ashlee Ross and husband Brett on the birth of their second child, a baby boy, Carter Hayes Ross. Congratulations to Mr Lauren Morris and her husband Luke on the announcement that they are expecting their second child.

Each year we hold a Mother's Day Stall and a Father’s Day Stall. This is a small way in which the children have the opportunity to purchase a gift for their mother, father or carer. For the past number of years Mrs Sarah Ellis-Donai and Mrs Louise Labib have coordinated this stall for our school. They have also been assisted by parent helpers on the day of the stall. This year is Sarah and Louise’s last year for coordinating the stall. We are now seeking some parents to take on this role for 2023. With our 2022 Mother’s Day Stall occurring early next term on Friday 6th May, now is the time to volunteer and learn what is involved. If you are interested in assisting in the 2022 Mother’s Day Stall and/or interested in coordinating the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls in the future, please contact the school office to leave your name and someone will be in contact with you.
Enrolling now for 2023
The enrolment period for 2023 has opened. If you have a child who is to start Kindergarten in 2023, please collect an enrolment form from the School Office or access the electronic form on our school website. The enrolment period closes on Thursday 7th April and interviews will be conducted early in Term 2. Please spread the word about our great school.

Tween and teen girls don’t have a problem with screens. Just ask them.
They’ll tell you everything’s fine. But… ask them to put that screen away, get off social media, or stop obsessing over everything online and you’d better prepare for battle!
Of all people who use devices and screens, some researchers have found that adolescent girls are the most at risk of decreased wellbeing, friendship issues, and body image difficulties. Yet others find moderate use of devices can support wellbeing.
But is the problem the screen? Or is it something else?
In this webinar, Dr Justin Coulson (expert and host of Channel 9’s Parental Guidance) and Jocelyn Brewer (psychologist and founder of Digital Nutrition) answer your most vexing questions regarding tween and teen girls and their screens.
We’ll tackle themes including:
- The never-ending, incessant use of screens (and why "turn it off" is not going to cut it)
- What social media is doing to our girl's body image and wellbeing
- Cyberbullying, nudes and screens in bedrooms
- How to set boundaries around screens that work for you AND her.
